We recently purchased a new-to-us slant load trailer with room for three horses. The stalls inside have dividers that swing to the side allowing horses to load to the front. These dividers are about waist high and completely open below. The 2012 Eagle Ranch Spring Fling I was the first 5o mile endurance ride that I completed. I rode my Friesian X, Aurora Borealis von Jorrit. While she doesn’t cool out as well as other horses, she has an amazing efficient, ground covering stride that makes up for a lot. We finished the ride in 6 h and 53 minutes, and came in 9th place. It was a very exciting achievement for us.
This is my first official post on my new webpage! I have recently begun the sport of equestrian endurance and I have decided to create a site about my adventures, the people I meet, recent news, other popular endurance sites and anything else that comes along.
